The new Environment Committee at 76 full members. It is the largest Committee in the new European Parliament. The seat allocation is 18 EPP, 16 S&D, 11 Renew Europe, 8 Greens/EFA, 7 ID, 6 ECR, 5 GUE/NGL, 5 NI. The Chairs and Vice-Chairs are appointed next week.
The members of the new fisheries committee were published today. There will be 28 MEPs: 7 EPP, 6 S&D, 4 Renew, 3 Greens/EFA, 3 ID, 2 ECR, 1 GUE, and 2 NI. The Chairs and Vice-Chairs will be confirmed next week.
The European Parliament has a very useful ‘Legislative Train Schedule’ (link). It tracks some of the key legislative proposals from the Juncker Commission.
